Itinerary

Day 1 : Marrakech to Dades Valley

Starting our 4-day Marrakech desert tour, we drive south toward the High Atlas Mountains. Along the way, we cross the Tizi n’Tichka pass at 2,260 metres and stop for views and photos.

Next, we visit Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a historic UNESCO World Heritage site. Many famous films, including Gladiator and Game of Thrones, were filmed here. After that, you have free time to walk through the old streets and explore.

We then continue to Ouarzazate, known as the gateway to the Sahara. From there, we drive along the Road of 1,000 Kasbahs toward Dades Valley. In the evening, you enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at your guesthouse.

Day 2 : Dades Valley to Merzouga

The 4-day desert tour from Marrakech continues east through Dades Valley. First, we stop at Todra Gorge, where high canyon walls rise above the narrow path. Here, you have free time to walk and enjoy the cool air.

Afterwards, we pass through Erfoud and Rissani before reaching Merzouga, a small village at the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes. In the afternoon, you ride camels across the sand at sunset and stop on a high dune to enjoy the view.

Back at camp, the staff serves dinner by the fire while local music fills the air. Then you spend the night in your desert tent under the stars.

Day 3 : Free Day in Merzouga

Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes. The morning light on the sand is calm and clear. After breakfast, the day is yours to plan.

You can explore Merzouga or try one of these optional activities:

• Quad biking across the dunes
• Buggy ride in the desert
• Visit a nomad family and share mint tea
• Walk in the village and see local life

There is no fixed plan today. So whether you rest, explore, or simply sit and enjoy the quiet desert, the choice is yours.

Day 4 : Merzouga to Marrakech

After breakfast, we head back toward Ouarzazate. Along the way, we stop at scenic points and Berber villages.

Next, we cross the Tizi n’Tichka pass, where you can step out for photos and enjoy the views. Before we continue to Marrakech, we stop for lunch.

Finally, we arrive in the afternoon or evening and drop you off at your hotel, marking the end of your 4-day desert tour.
